The Empowered Woman’s Reading List

A few years ago I went in search of a book for my friend’s daughter. She was graduating high school and I wanted to find something inspired, something that seemed to say it all, like, Oh! The Places You’ll Go, but better. I wanted something that specifically spoke to a young woman about to head off on an adventure.

I couldn’t really find anything.

I searched the internet for lists of books for women and book recommendations but nothing seemed right. So, below is my attempt to put together the list I was looking for, and although these books are by no means specific to women, I have selected these with the empowered woman in mind. Here are some suggestions for the empowered woman in your life.
